RBNZ’s Conway: Softer GDP and CPI data doesn't mean the central bank will cut interest rates

Australia’s Retail Sales falls 2.7% MoM in December vs. 2.0% prior
Australia’s Retail Sales, a measure of the country’s consumer spending, fell 2.7% MoM in December from the previous reading of a 2.0% rise, according to the official data published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) on Tuesday.
