USD/JPY rejected from 120.00, retreats sharply
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/JPY bounced sharply to the downside, after being unable to hold above 120.00. The pair peaked at 120.23, fresh 7-high but then reversed and dropped more than 80 pips.
Recently printed a fresh daily low at 119.32, approaching Tuesday’s low that lie at 119.11. The pair remains under pressure as the US dollar plummets across the board. Stocks finished sharply lower in Europe and are falling in Wall Street while US government bond yields decline.
Despite rising sharply against the US dollar, the yen is mixed across the board. EUR/JPY reached fresh highs above 148.00 while AUD/JPY holds above 100.00.
