Trader positions on US 10-year Treasury futures remain unchanged last week

FXStreet (Mumbai) - As per the data released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the 10-year treasury note futures trader positions were virtually unchanged last week.

The non-commercial futures contracts of the 10-year treasury notes saw a weekly change of +1217 net contracts. The week’s total positions stood at -138,257 contracts in the data reported for March 10th. The long positions increased by 23,039 contracts while the short positions saw a rise of 21,822 contracts.

Meanwhile, during the reporting time-period - March 3rd to March 10th - the yield on the 10-Year treasury note edged up from 2.12% to 2.14%.
