Analysts at Nomura offered their model's projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 272 pips lower than the previous fix (6.3452 from 6.3724) and 102 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.3350. The basket implied change is 125 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.3475 from 6.3350)."
