NZD/USD hits 11-month high above 0.8600
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Despite the mild risk-off tone, the Kiwi dollar is among the best performers Tuesday, with the NZD/USD having broken above 2013 highs.
The NZD/USD gathered momentum during the European session and broke above the 0.8600 mark, stretching to its highest level in 11-months at 0.8627 so far. At time of writing, the pair is trading at the 0.8625 area, threatening highs and recording a 0.7% gain on the day.
NZD/USD levels to watch
In terms of technical levels, if the NZD/USD breaks above 0.8627, next resistances are seen at 0.8642 (Apr 12 2014) and 0.8675 (2014 high Apr 11). On the flip side, supports could be faced at 0.8540 (Mar 18 low), 0.8507 (10-day SMA) and 0.8500 (psychological level).
