UK PM May’s Spokesman: May looking forward to explaining Brexit stance to Trump

Reuters reports comments from the UK PM May’s spokesman, as he speaks of the government’s proposals and about Trump’s interview on the Brexit stance with the Sun.

The spokesman noted: “She’s looking forward to sitting down with the president and talking him through the white paper.” 

Trump blasted the UK PM May's Brexit plan in an interview with the UK newspaper, Sun, saying that May’s plans for a business-friendly Brexit won’t allow a new trans-Atlantic trade deal to be struck.
